Research trail

What the records mean.

The first 95 case rows are normalised from an established episode-by-episode body-count ledger. Later entries are checked against published episode descriptions and selected detailed synopses. Method descriptions are reduced to broad factual families; this site does not reproduce source prose.

“Historical” means that the death occurred before the main investigation or is revealed through backstory. “Other” combines accidental, natural and unresolved deaths because the broad Times total reports accidental and natural deaths together.

This is an evidence ledger, not a claim of medical certainty. Corrections can be checked through the source policy on the about page.
