Katherine Lacey

The episode resolution identifies Katherine as Emily Simpson's murderer and as the person who killed Iris and Dennis Rainbird. Katherine also shot Bella Trace earlier: Phyllis Cadell confessed to the shooting, but Barnaby establishes that Phyllis missed. Michael Lacey aided Katherine in the earlier plot and shares the later suicide pact, but is not labelled as a co-killer here.

Katherine killed Emily Simpson to conceal her relationship with Michael, then killed Iris and Dennis Rainbird when their blackmail threatened to expose it.
