Harriet Walter is a major British stage actor whose classical work includes a long association with the Royal Shakespeare Company. On screen she has appeared in Sense and Sensibility and Downton Abbey.
Later television work includes Succession, Killing Eve and Ted Lasso. Her two Midsomer parts make her a particularly apt subject for the casebook's returning-actors trail.
