Residents of two Monks Barton cottages disappear near woods said to be haunted, and the abandoned homes contain enough blood to suggest violence without immediately revealing its shape. Stanley GoodfellowStanley killed intruder Terence Lowler, then shot Colin and Molly Thomas when they wanted to report the death. He later killed Lynton Pargeter during their confrontation; Nesta Goodfellow survived being hidden in the well, Cyrus LeVanu's death was not another murder, and the monks belong to the historical legend.
