Little Marlow is an old Thames-side parish set just east of Marlow, with a modest village centre, manor buildings and the medieval church of St John the Baptist. Its scale and mix of green space, cottages and river landscape allow it to stand in for a close-knit fictional settlement.
The river is nearby but not every bank or property is publicly accessible. Visitors should use signed paths and combine the village with Marlow, Bourne End or a permitted Thames walk.
